We’re not big fans of dairy though, so we created this dairy-free delight instead. It has all the flavour and creaminess of the classic smoothie, without the milk-based products.

How do we manage to keep it creamy without adding dairy? The secret is frozen banana… It has all of the rich and smooth properties of ice-cream but none of the lactose. Oh, and fewer calories too!
- 10-15 strawberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 120ml (½ a cup) cold water
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the green hulls.
- Then blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
If your blender has a hard time with frozen ingredients, then you can always leave the banana to defrost and soften for 10 mins before blending.
